Welcome

Since I can remember, I’ve lusted after good food and delicious wine. It wasn’t until studying in Italy that I realized how much my Italian heritage mirrored Italy’s love for food and wine. The connection was undeniable. Returning to the states, I continued studying and working in restaurants, as well as earning certification as a sommelier. Not only do I have the working knowledge of what makes successful wine, I have the passion for understanding the simple pleasures that make a fine wine not just good, but superb.

In addition, I have the support of my family, who have worked together in Chicago for three generations. Through their successes and business values, I possess a strong sense of loyalty and commitment; tools I intend to apply to J. Pompei Wine Imports.
